Chinese stockmarket, as represented by the Hang Seng China Enterprises
Index (HSCEI, the Index), with the added
security of a level of capital protection at maturity.
Your Investment
The two investment options give exposure to the Chinese
stockmarket via the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index
(HSCEI), a benchmark for the stock price
performance of major Chinese companies listed in
Hong Kong.
The companies on the HSCEI have at least 50% of their
revenues generated from mainland China and since they
are listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong
Kong, they comply with internationally
recognised listing requirements and accounting
standards. Investing through this index gives
exposure to the growth and dynamism of Chinese
companies with the added security of exposure to
substantial companies listed on the more mature and better
regulated Hong Kong market.
